Lou is a victim of a hit and run.  As a destination journalist,  she gets bored ofcher apartment pretty quickly.  From a recommendation,  she hires Ed to paint her apartment.
The relationship and trust between Ed and Lou allows them both to not only heal but hope, real hope for the first time in years.
I enjoyed this story - very relatable, realistic characters. The ending caught me off guard - very poetic.
